“INFERNAL EXECRATOR SYMBOLIZES CHRISTEXECRATING BLACK METAL CHAOS!!!”
Yep, that’s what it says in the promo sheet. You would think that a band like this would have nothing to offer, but they actually do. It might not be often, but they manage to cook up some decent black metal on this MCD. It suffers from a quite shitty production though, and we all know how I feel about poorly recorded black metal…
Being from Singapore, I bet they want to give country mates Impiety a run for the title of being the most extreme act out of their country (and in the process they are actually covering one Impiety song on here). So far it looks like Infernal Execrator is winning this bout. Why? They have more bullet belts and corpsepaint in their photos (musicwise, Impiety is still a bit ahead).
So, IE (it would be so much cooler if Internet Explorer changed name to Infernal Execrator. Imagine saying “I use Infernal Execrator 8 while browsing”, now THAT would be metal) play black metal and they do it quite well with the occasional groovy black metal riff, the eeeevul whispering voice here and there and the much needed evuuuul lyrics. Oh yes, they have their “ABC of Black Metal” book read from cover to cover on a regular basis, and in between listening to nothing but black metal and coming up with kindergarten corpsepaint they actually manage to have me listen to this disc and actually enjoy it from time to time. Not many poorly produced black metal bands do that to me. There’s a certain charm to what they do on this here recording. I can’t say that i will ever listen to it again, but it was fun for the time being.
The members listed below are the ones who are currently in the band. The reason why I mention it is becoz this MCD was recorded with Lord Ashir and some other hilariously named guys. Be sure that in some 3 weeks, Lord Ashir is yet again surrounded by new musicians. It looks like he enjoys working that way. aND WHO KNOWS, MAYBE ONE DAY HE’LL BE ABLE TO GET INTO A REAL STUDIO AND MAKE HIMSELF A GOOD PRODUCTION. tHEN, AND ONLY THEN, WILL iNFERNAL eXECRATOR gET A NEW SPIN AT MY PLACE.
Oh, and I fucken hate when CAPS COCK does that to me.
